It was Babes (formerly Babes Wodumo, but we all know what happened to that) and Mampintsha‘s traditional wedding weekend. The wedding rights are said to have been sold to Showmax at a 3 Million price ZAR tag so we will not be seeing many images of the wedding which is said to resume today, Monday 26th April. Mampitsha proposed to Babes last October and the wedding was pushed to this year due to COVID-19 regulations and it looks like they had to get all formalities out of the way before the bun in Babe’s oven fully bakes.
The pair lost public favour when Mampintsha was reported for the constant abuse of the songbird, both physically and financially. Babes missed a lot of performances at the peak of her career as it was reported that her now-hubby would not allow travels out of his sight.
Would you watch the Showmax special of the wedding?
Is the COVID-19 scare over, guys? Braamfontein was such a mess this past Saturday when the new dance sensation, Uncle Vinny had his 19th birthday bash. It was just meant to be a small birthday celebration, but what he didn’t know is that everyone wanted in on the fun so it soon became stampede-sque. The police had to shut it down, talk about legendary and party goers seen scattered through the Braam streets!
I love the new era celebrities, taking being an influencer to a brand new level where one is famous just for being famous and coins it simply because…
Nampree is definitely not resting when it comes to FEU. My girls has filed papers, suing Euphonza for defamation of character after he exposed her identity on Twitter as well as shared her number on the platform, opening her up to harassment from his fans. She is suing him for half a bar! I say go girl and I hope he squirms and pays.
Some fluffy goodness, who has watched the documentary “My Octopus Teacher”? The South African Documentary following a film maker who “befriends” an octopus and spends time with it as it guides him in its territory, has won an Oscar for Best Documentary Film. The film is a netflix original, first to come out of our shores! Congrats to the team.
It is a long weekend for many in South Africa and it will definitely be quiet here. Have a good week ahead, see you Wednesday!
